Create an identity for group or role

  1. From the Contents menu, select Asset Lifecycle Management and then Configuration and then Identities.

  2. Select Create New Identity to open a blank Identity form. Alternatively, select New Identity from the toolbar on the Identities page.

  3. Enter the Name and optional Description of the new identity.

  4. Create a Group or a Role

    • If you want this identity to represent a group, select Classification and select Team. This defines the role.

    • If you want this identity to represent a Role, leave Classification blank and select the Team. This defines a group.

  5. If the identity is not classified as a team, you can optionally add existing group identities and create new identities which will be members of this identity from the Member area:

    • Select Add Identities to open the Select Identities dialog. From here, you can search for the existing identities you want to add as members.

    • Select New Identity to create a new blank row in the Members table. Any identities created here can be edited from the Identities page after you select Save or Done for the current identity.

  6. Select Save or Done to save your changes.
