Manage collections

Collections are saved groups of Elements. They are not Lists, which are separate. This procedure can be done in both AVEVA Engineering and AVEVA E3D.

Save a collection

1. In AVEVA Engineering from the top ribbon, select Manage then Search & Filter.

2. Filter the elements as required then select the element(s).

3. Select Save Collection to save the selected element(s).

4. Provide a name and select OK and OK again.

Load a collection

5. In AVEVA Engineering from the top ribbon, select Manage. Or in AVEVA E3D select Manage then select Deliverables Manager.

6. Select Search & Filter.

   

7. From the Elements tab, select Load Collections (to access previously saved Collections).

8. Double-click the desired Collection to load it to the staging area.

9. Publish the elements. See Publish individual elements for additional information.

Remove a collection

10. In AVEVA Engineering from the top ribbon, select Manage. In AVEVA E3D select Manage then select Deliverables Manager.

11. Select Search & Filter.

12. Select Load Collections.

13. Select the collection to remove.

14. Select the Trash Can icon. The collection is removed.

    

Remove an item from the viewed collection

15. In AVEVA Engineering from the top ribbon, select Manage then Search & Filter.

16. Select Load Collections.

17. Select an item of the collection and select Remove to remove it.
