How can I find the assets I need?

Use Search & Filter. If still unavailable, work with your administrator to ensure the correct Information Standards Manager (ISM) Class Library is loaded and applied to the asset. The ISM Class Library governs both the input and output criteria by which an asset is found and manipulated. Multiple assets can use the same ISM Class Library.

How can I find the lists I need?

Use Search & Filter. If still unavailable, work with your administrator to load the lists needed.

My workflow is not correct. How do I fix it?

Work with your administrator to correct the workflow as needed.

I cannot find the correct Document Definition. How do I fix it?

Work with your administrator to define the document definition as needed.

Is Breakdown Structure (BS) mandatory?

No, it is optionally used.

How can I review notifications and messages in AVEVA Unified Engineering?

Select Tools and then Messages to review notifications. Also, view the status bar at the bottom to review any messages, both error and status updates, to review progress.

In Innovator, where do I investigate exports that fail?

Start by reviewing the Background Jobs, available from Asset Lifecycle Management then Configuration and then Background Jobs. These are jobs run in the background that are triggered by the assigned workflow using the job template, for example exporting. The Background Job indicates the template triggered, the item routed, and the check pack information included.

The notification email went to the incorrect users. How do I check?

Review the check pack’s Distribution List and ensure the correct list has been selected for the check pack.

Engineering/E3D is not automatically publishing my updates. How do I fix this?

The Owner and Purpose need to be configured.

1. From the main menu, select Project.

2. Select ALM Settings and then Default Values.

3. Select Owner and Purpose.

   1. If Owner is unavailable, from the menu at left, select Ship Configuration.

   2. Select the desired Ship configuration.

   3. Restart Engineering/E3D and return to step 3 and establish the Owner.
