AVEVA™ Deliverables Management

Transmittals

Transmittals are used to export deliverables (data) for review or comments to external users who do not log in to Innovator, such as owner/operators unable to log in to the contractor’s Innovator system. The process includes the ability to return commentary to ensure the integrity of the data.

Transmittals supports two pieces of documentation, a cover sheet and a Comment Response Sheet. The cover sheet provides the details and purpose of the documentation while the comment response sheet provides the ability to the user to enter commentary which can then be returned and captured automatically in Innovator.

As part of Transmittals:

  • The role Document Controller is required to manage transmittals.

  • For notifications to successfully occur, the users must have their roles and email addresses created in the system. The user accounts themselves can be disabled as long as a working email address is available.

  • An Export Template designed for transmittals must first be created. If relying on Notifications to external users, the export template should include the group designated for these users.
