Assign users to a project

A role grants access to the assets in the project they reside. When a role is granted to a user, the assets are then available to the user in that project. Once assigned to the Project, they are automatically created as a Team.

Note: Once a team member is added, they will be unable to see their membership in the group until they have logged out and logged back in.

  1. In Innovator select Asset Lifecycle Management then Projects.

  2. Double-click the Project to which users will be added.

  3. Select Edit.

  4. From the Project Team tab, select Add Identity.

  5. Type the name of the user in the Name field and double-click their name to add them or select OK to add and exit the screen.

  6. Assign the role either by typing in the name of the role or by selecting the icon and searching it to add the role for the newly added user.

  7. Select Save.
