Publish lists from AVEVA Engineering

The user creates lists of assets to publish for review and approval. Lists are categories of similar assets and their associated data.

Note: If the equipment list is left blank, then ALL assets will be added.

  1. In AVEVA Engineering's top ribbon, select Manage, and then in Deliverables Manager select Search & Filter.

  2. Select the Lists tab

  3. Select a list, initially configured in ALM Settings in List Templates.

  4. If necessary, filter the list to refine the categorization of items to be included.

    1. Select a filter, for example NAME. Filter terms are created by an administrator.

    2. Type the name of the filter that will be used to refine the list to just that term’s usage, for example 110.

  5. Select Add Elements. The filtered assets appear in the staging area and require further configuration.

    1. To remove assets from the staging area, select the asset, then select Remove.

  6. In the first row of the table, enter the Document Number. If necessary, refer to your Innovator administrator for the correct document number. This in turn retrieves document name and document class from Innovator.

  7. Select the Owner and Purpose. This determines the correct workflow. The selection applies to all the empty entries.

  8. If another asset is required, change the filters (see step 4) and select it; the Owner and Purpose are automatically applied.

  9. Select Publish.
