Email notification templates

Email templates are included as part of the default installation package. It is highly suggested to copy these (use the ‘save as’ feature) and modify them for new use cases.

Users are informed by email notifications that are customized by administrators for particular use cases. They are triggered from Workflows, see: Manage workflows.

Tips:

  • When defining workflows, select the Notification tab and specify which email notification to use at that particular juncture.

  • When configuring the notification in the workflow, the event equates to when it happened while the target is the recipient of the notification.

Review email templates

  1. Select Administration, Notification, and then E-Mail Message.

  2. Select Search E-Mail Message and Search again to reveal the templates already built.

Create a new email template

Use the existing email templates and modify as needed.

  1. Select Administration, Notification, and then E-Mail Message.

  2. Select Search E-Mail Message and Search again to reveal the templates already built.

  3. Right-click the desired email template and select More and Save As. The copy of the email opens in a new tab.

  4. Modify the Name first, then adjust the email template as needed.

  5. Select Save when complete.
