Tags can be added in multiple ways and in different areas of the PBOM.
Add Tags from a BOM list

Open a PBOM.

Select Edit.

Select the Tags tab.

Select Add Tags button. All tags associated to the asset appear.

Select tag(s) to be added.

Select Done to add tags.
Add Tags from an Assembly

Open the BOM.

From the BOM Hierarchy tab, select the EBOM where the data resides.

Using the Dynamic 3D View button select BOM Structure to open the visual display of the assembly.

Right-click the tag desired and select Associate to BOM.

Select the Search icon and search for the PBOM.

Select the PBOM and select OK. The tag is added once the BOM structure is refreshed. Additionally, the 3D view is now available as well.
