Compare tag data

There are two different comparison models available:

• Compare Version: enables comparison of changes between different versions of the same BOM

• Compare Structure: enables comparison of changes between two different BOMs.

Within Innovator it is possible to use one tag's data to find additional tags with the same correlating data once the TDP is published from Engineering.

1. Search the Technical Data Packs module for the desired tag.

2. From the TDP Data tab, double-click the item number of the tag.

3. Select the BOM References tab to identify the location of the part in BOMs. The nested series of BOMs appear; open as needed.

4. Double-click the item number of the part.

   

5. Select the Compare BOM tab.

6. Select either Compare Versions or Compare Structures.

7. Select the desired version or structure from each drop-down menu.

8. Select Compare BOM to view.
