The SDK Connections command on the Interface menu opens the PI Connection Manager dialog box that manages PI Server connections (also referred to as the SDK Known Servers Table):
Before an interface can be registered for synchronization, the PI Server that contains the interface's points must appear in the list in this dialog box. If the PI Server is not in the list, it must be added and may also require addition of PI trusts or PI mappings to grant access rights to PI APS. Check the PI trusts and PI mappings on the PI Server and, if necessary, make security changes for PI APS as discussed in Required PI Server configuration for PI APS. Click Add Server on the Server menu to open a dialog box that inserts a new server into the list.
Note: The list of servers in the PI Connection Manager dialog box is shared by all applications on the host computer. Therefore, the list might contain PI Servers in addition to the ones that you want PI APS to synchronize.
If the list contains PI Servers that PI APS should not use, do not delete them from the list unless you are certain that no other application on this host computer needs connections to them. Instead, use the Loading tab on the Options dialog box to select which of the PI Servers in the PI Connection Manager list are used by PI APS.
