As mentioned earlier, the grid area at the bottom of the main window displays a list of points from the category selected by the option buttons in the Tag Search Criteria area. When the grid area is populated with points, various operations can be performed on all points in the grid or a selected subset of the rows in the grid. The operations that can be performed depend on the category of points that is currently displayed. Menus of category-specific operations are displayed by right-clicking in the grid area. The commands on the shortcut menus for each point category are described in the following sections. When operations are initiated by clicking the shortcut menu commands, the Abort button is available and can be used to terminate an operation before it runs to completion.
Some operations are applied to all rows in the grid. Other operations are applied to a single row or a selected subset of the rows. An unselected row displays as colored text on a white background. Selected rows display as white text on a blue background. Right-clicking on an unselected row implicitly selects that row and displays the shortcut menu for the point category. Click a row to select that one row. The usual Windows conventions can be used to add additional rows to the selection. That is, SHIFT+click extends the selection from the first selected row to the row under the pointer, or CTRL+click adds the row under the pointer to the current selection. After making a single or multi-row selection, position the mouse pointer over any selected row and right-click to display the shortcut menu.
