Uninstall PI APS

Run the PI APS Configuration Utility.

In the PI APS Configuration Utility, unregister all instances of PI APS:

1. Select an interface instance in the Interface: box.

2. Unregister the interface instance by clicking the button on the toolbar or the Unregister command on the Interface menu.

3. Repeat steps a and b for all registered interface instances.

Exit from the PI APS Configuration Utility.

Remove PI APS components:

1. Open Windows Control Panel and select Add or Remove Programs.

2. Uninstall the following programs:

   • PI Auto Point Synchronization (PI APS)

   • Any installed PI APS Connectors (the %PIHOME%\APS\Connectors folder contains a subfolder for each installed PI APS Connector that will assist you in identifying them).

After uninstalling PI APS components, log files and APSPoints database files remain on the computer in the %PIHOME%\APS folder and subfolders.

Optional: Review and delete the files in the %PIHOME%\APS folder hierarchy.
