The Hide Point(s) command changes the selected available points into hidden points. The PI APS Sync Engine ignores the hidden points. It does not consider the hidden points as available for point creation. The PI APS Configuration Utility does not display hidden points unless the Hidden points button in the Tag Search Criteria area is selected. After the selected points are changed to hidden points, the grid is refreshed to show the remaining available points, if any.
