The status bar for the PI APS Configuration Utility has three message areas.

The status of the PI APS Configuration Utility itself. When the PI APS Configuration Utility is waiting for user interaction, this area shows Ready. While performing an operation, this area is updated to indicate the progress or current state. |
Indicates whether the interface in the Interface box is configured for scheduled or manually-initiated synchronization. If no interface is selected, this message area is empty. |
The status of the PI APS Sync Engine. The PI APS Configuration Utility refreshes this message area every 10 seconds. |
