Wait and Try Again

It is possible another Save work is pending, wait a few minutes and try again.

Check Internet Connection

  • Verify that you have network access and can connect to the internet.

Check Status of AVEVA Unified Engineering - Spectrum Service and CONNECT Platform.

  • Navigate to the web page:

    https://status.connect.aveva.com/

  • Check the status of CONNECT and AVEVA Unified Engineering - Spectrum.

    Any known problems will be recorded on this site.

Check Edge Connector

  • Reach out to your administrator/ IT team.

  • Request they check your Edge Connector is switched on and the Connector Services are running.

    For more information, see Troubleshooting for IT Engineers.

Review Log Information

  • Find the log file of failed requests to the AVEVA Unified Engineering - Spectrum service at:

    %AVEVA_DESIGN_WORK%\spectrum.log

  • Check this file for errors.

  • If you raise a support request with AVEVA please supply a copy of this file.
