Check for Spaces in evars

In the evars.init file, check there are no extra spaces in the evars values, including at the end of a line. For example:

“set pmllib=%aveva_design_exe%pmllib\” is correct.

“set pmllib=%aveva_design_exe%pmllib\ ” is incorrect.
Licensing Setup

Verify the environment variable AVEVA_LICENSE_SERVER_LIST is set to
https://license.connect.aveva.com

If it is and the problem persists, check with your commercial office that your company has the appropriate credits agreement.
Check Permissions on Cloud Store Project Files

Ensure the end user can access this location through Windows File Explorer from the computer they are running AVEVA Unified Engineering on:
\\<edge connector machine name>\cloudstore\<project name>

If there are any problems opening this, it suggests there are permissions missing.

Check the permissions setting or reach out to your IT team to resolve this.
Review Log Information

Find the the log file of failed requests to the AVEVA Unified Engineering - Spectrum service at:
%AVEVA_DESIGN_WORK%\spectrum.log
The value is defined in evars.init by default.

Check this file for errors.
