Check Edge Connector
-
Reach out to your IT team.
-
Request they check your Edge Connector is switched on and the Connector Services are running.
Details on this are provided in the Troubleshooting for IT Engineers. If you are able to access the Edge Connector directly, for more information, see the Troubleshooting for IT Engineers.
Check Permissions in CONNECT
-
In CONNECT, navigate to the User Management page:
https://connect.aveva.com/#/account/admin/identity/users
-
Select the User experiencing the error from the Users list.
The Roles tab will provide a full list of roles assigned to that user either directly or inherited from a group.
For a user to see a project in AVEVA Unified Engineering / AVEVA Administration they need to have the Project Writer or Project Reader role assigned for that project.
Note:
If they have Account Projects Admin or Account Owner assigned, they would be able to see every project without the need for additional role assignments.
Has the Project Synced to an Edge Connector?
-
From the web dashboard:
https://spectrum.connect.aveva.com/#/projects
Select the project you are trying to use. This will display a list of Edge Connectors it is enabled on, including the sync status.

Note:
It is only possible to use the project in AVEVA E3D Design / AVEVA Administration if the status is Synced.
