Informational errors during reprocessing or archive integrity checks

  • Last UpdatedOct 02, 2024
  • 2 minute read

During reprocessing or an archive integrity check, you might encounter one of the messages listed here, especially if an abnormal shutdown has occurred. For example:

  • The [-16305] message indicates that the events within the archive record are not in order. It is typically displayed in conjunction with [-16302].

  • The [-16302] message indicates that the chain for the index and overflow record is broken.

These messages are informational and are typically non-fatal. In some cases, there might be some data loss depending on the nature of the corruption.

If you get these messages during an archive integrity check, repair the affected archive by reprocessing it. After the archive is reprocessed, a report of all errors that were encountered and resolved is shown.

If you get these errors while reprocessing an archive, the messages are informational and the reprocessing utility will attempt to repair the discrepancies that were found.
