Modify the EditDays tuning parameter

You can modify the value of the EditDays parameter with the number of past days where events can be modified in the Snapshot or Archive databases.

1. Select Start > PI System Management Tools > Operation > Tuning Parameters.

2. In the Collectives and Servers pane, select the appropriate Data Archive server.

3. Click the Snapshot tab for the subsystem where you want to edit the tuning parameter value.

4. If necessary, add the EditDays tuning parameter to the list. See Add a tuning parameter to the list.

5. Right-click the EditDays parameter and click Edit.

6. Enter a value and click OK. A zero value means no time check is done.

7. For the changes to take effect, restart the Data Archive server.
