Before creating a sample system using future data, you must verify that you have installed correct versions of our products.

  1. Verify that you have installed PI Server 2015 or later.

    PI Server includes Data Archive and PI AF.

  2. Verify that you have installed the latest version of a client tool such as AVEVA PI Vision.

  3. Start a Data Archive and a PI AF server.
