Data Archive tracks time according to the Windows clock, including the time zone and Daylight Saving Time (DST) settings. If the system clock is wrong, Data Archive data is incorrect.
We recommend that you check the system clock regularly. If you need to make an adjustment, adjust the clock only in small increments (for example, one second per minute). Keep a record of all adjustments you make.
Archive time stamps in Data Archive are stored as the number of seconds past January 1, 1970. Two-digit years from 00 through 69 are interpreted as 21st century (2000s). Two-digit years from 70 through 99 are interpreted as the 20th century (1900s). For example, 70 translates to 1970; 00 translates to 2000; and 37 translates to 2037.
Note: Time stamps after January 2038 are currently not supported.
