Use a trend to monitor performance points

You can use AVEVA PI Vision to build a display that monitors the data from your PI Performance Monitor points so that you can check Data Archive at a glance. A display that uses a multi-state object for each performance counter and shows a particular color for data that indicates a problem can help you identify issues at a glance.

You can also create notifications in PI Asset Framework to receive emails when any of the performance counters indicate a problem. In order to do so, you need to install PI Asset Framework and may have to first configure analyses and event frames.
