The unit category, and default units for the property
-
Boiling point ranges for valid cuts
-
Valid ranges for property values
-
Display formats, including standard display units and precisions
-
Blending behaviour including blend basis (weight or volume) and formulaic blending indices (including non-linear indices)
-
Blending behaviour on crude
-
Correlations which can be used if property measurements are absent
-
Graphability of the property as a profile
-
Measurements tolerances (as formulae) used to control fitting of profiles
-
Multiple constraints on fitting profiles, including value constraints and monotonicity
-
Control of tension, and extrapolation behaviour for fitting profiles
The following guide to the Property Manager makes use of a simple example, of adding Basic Nitrogen as a property, and configuring its behaviour.
