The Data Sets List shows all the different items of input data used to feed the flowsheet unit model. Each item in the list has a corresponding column in the Data Grid.
Each Data Set is associated with a Base (Multiple bases) in the model. When a Data Set is added it must be associated with a particular Base. A Data Set can only be associated with a single Base in the model.
Property values for Data Sets are either entered manually in the Data Grid, or can be automatically calculated from external process models.
Several attributes can be set for each Data Set:
-
Base - whether the particular Data Set is used as the base set for regression. If you delete the base Data Set by selecting it and clicking the
button, the first Data Set of the list is automatically selected as new base.
-
Active - whether the Data Set is included in the regression calculations.
-
Name - the name of the Data Set.
-
Type - whether the Data Set is calculated or manually entered.
-
Feed Stream - the flowsheet stream used to feed flowsheet unit model.
-
Feed Crude - the assay used as the feed for the Data Set.
One of the Data Sets must be set as a Base for the regression. The Base Data Set is used to define the default input qualities of the unit feed, and the delta values determined by the effect of quality changes relative to the Base Data Set. The Base Data Set is shaded with a blue column in the Data Grid.
