Import a flowsheet
You can import flowsheets into the Flowsheet Manager from external files. Three file types are supported: .fls, .sff and .ssf files.
Export an existing flowsheet
To export an existing flowsheet, select it from the list of available flowsheets and
click the Export button
. Enter a filename in the File Name field of the Save As dialog box and press OK to export the flowsheet, or press Cancel to quit.
Edit an existing flowsheet
You can edit an existing flowsheet by selecting it from the list of available flowsheets and clicking the
Edit button
. This opens the Flowsheet Editor.
Rename an existing flowsheet
To rename an existing flowsheet, select it in the list of available flowsheets and
click the Rename button
. Enter the new name and click OK. Note the new name for the flowsheet must be different to the names of the other
flowsheets in the Flowsheet Manager.
Share flowsheets
To share a flowsheet with other Process Model Manager Reference Manual users select
the flowsheet and click the
icon. In the CrudeSync dialog select the name of the share where the flowsheet should
be published, and enter a comment.
When a flowsheet is shared it is also made available in the Spiral Assay web application, which allows crude data to be accessed via a web browser. Shared flowsheets can also be accessed programmatically from custom applications using a programmatic interface.
When a flowsheet is shared, the buttons at the bottom of the Flowsheet Editor change to Refresh, Publish and Close:
-
Click Refresh to download any CrudeSync updates that may have been published since you opened the flowsheet. This may be necessary because you cannot publish your flowsheet if there are pending CrudeSync updates.
-
Click Publish to upload the flowsheet to the destination Share.
-
Click Close to exit the Flowsheet Editor, losing any changes not yet published.
Remove an existing flowsheet
To remove an existing flowsheet, select it in the list of available flowsheets and
click the Remove icon (
).
