Add new model parameter outputs

Output parameters can have further information associated for use in other software tools

Existing Model Parameters can be included in the output. To add a Model Parameter for output:

  1. Click the Add Model Parameter button .

  2. In the Operational Parameter dialog select the Flowsheet Unit the Model Parameter is associated with.

  3. To use an existing Parameter select Model Parameter and select the name of the Parameter to output from the drop-down menu, or to use a custom Parameter select Manual Name and enter the name of the Parameter in the Manual Name text box.

  4. Enter the Default Tag for the Parameter.

  5. If using a Manual Parameter select the Unit the Parameter will be output in from the Unit menu.

  6. Select the Type of Operational Parameter using the drop-down menu. Each Operational Parameter can be assigned as one of the following Types:

    • None

    • Utility - defines the calculated value as a utility in the model

    • Capacity - defines the calculated value as a capacity in the model

    • Loss - defines the calculated value as a material loss in the model.
