Cases based on modelled data

The settings and data used in a Base + Delta model are contained in a Generation Case. These cases are stored locally on the computer, but may be uploaded to Spiral Assay Web for sharing.
Where rigorous process unit models are available these may be used in Process Model Manager Reference Manual to model input data, which can then be fitted to generate base + delta models. Different rigorous process unit models require different parameters to define their operation (Unit Models). Once set up these models can be used to simulate what happens when different crudes are processed, and then the results from these are fitted using regression in Process Model Manager Reference Manual.
In this section you will learn:
-
Set up a Process Model Manager Reference Manual case using a process unit model.
-
Configure the process unit model.
-
Set up the different feedstocks to be simulated in the case.
-
Generate Data Set values based on the process unit model running with the different feedstocks.
-
Perform regression on the simulated results.
