The Input list shows those properties and parameters which affect the yield and properties of the unit's output

Inputs to the Base + Delta model are variables for which delta vectors are generated to define how the unit yields, properties and utilities will respond to deviations from the base case.

Inputs to the model can be any of the following:

  • a property of the flowsheet model feed

  • an operating parameter for the flowsheet unit

  • a custom user calculation defined as a function of existing values in the dataset (e.g. other input properties or operational parameters).

Input properties are used to drive the actual model. As such each of the input properties must have values derived from data. The actual values used to drive the model are entered in the Model Base Grid Data Grid.

Use the Add New Property Input dialog to choose the properties used in the Process Model Manager Reference Manual Case.
