You can easily move multiple contiguous rows in the Inputs and Outputs windows by following these steps:
-
Select the first row you want to move. If you want to move just this single row, go to step 3.
-
While holding the Shift key on your keyboard, select the last row you want to move. All the rows between the first and the last one are selected.
-
Do either of the following:
-
Click the
and the
buttons to the right of the grid to move the selection up and down by a row, respectively.
-
Click and drag the mouse pointer up or down to move the selection to another position. A grey line shows the position where the selected rows will be inserted. Release the mouse button to move the rows.
-
There are limits to the extent you can move rows. For example, you cannot move the rows corresponding to the properties of a stream to areas of the grid occupied by other streams. This is signaled in two ways:
-
If the selection cannot be moved up or down anymore, the
or
button becomes deactivated, respectively.
-
If you are trying to drag the selected rows beyond the allowed range, the mouse pointer turns into a
symbol.
