Click the Regression Graph button to open the Regression graph dialog. This graph shows the delta value for the dependent property versus the delta value for an independent property. The gradient of this line is equal to the delta value for the particular property, and the graph shows the change in dependent property over the range of values present in the data sets.
You can change the base and comparison properties using the menus. Where multiple bases have been defined, use the left menu to select which base to display results for. To change the property displayed on the x-axis use the centre menu to select the property from the list of available input properties. To change the property displayed on the y-axis use the right side menu to select the property from the list of available output properties.
The base value is shown on the Regression graph with a red cross.
The Regression graph is used to show the strength of the relationship between property drivers and property predictions. Where there is a strong relationship a non-zero gradient will be shown on the graph.
