Unified Supply Chain Process Model Manager

Generate data set values using Process Unit Models

When configured process unit models can be used to generate Data Sets, which can then be used for regression to create Base + Delta models. Before process units can be used for generating Data Set values they must be completely configured. The number of parameters which must be set depends on the process unit being used.

After set up several different Data Sets can be created and each associated with a different crude feed. The process unit is used to model the resultant conversion of the feed by the process unit for each different crude feed.

To use a process unit model to generate results for a Data Set:

  1. Configure all the required parameters for the process unit.

  2. Create a Data Set for each different crude feed that should have results generated by the process unit model.

  3. Set each Data Set as Type Calculated and associate it with a particular crude assay.

  4. Click the Generate button to use the process unit model to determine the conversion for each different feed type.
