The PI Vision server endpoint is a URL that identifies the location of your PI Vision server.

  1. Using a browser, access the link to PI Integrator for Esri ArcGIS and log in.

If you receive a warning that there is a problem with the website's security certificate, follow the instructions in Configure certificates.

  2. Select Administration > Systems.

If no AVEVA PI Vision servers were defined previously, the following message displays:

Currently, no PI Vision servers are registered. Click here to add one.

If one or more AVEVA PI Vision servers have been defined, they are listed alphabetically on the page.

  3. Click Add PI Vision server.

The Add PI Vision server window opens.

  4. Enter a name for the AVEVA PI Vision server in the Name field.

You can use any name; however, you should select a name that is easy to remember.

  5. Enter a description for the AVEVA PI Vision server in the Description field.

  6. Enter the endpoint URL of the AVEVA PI Vision server in the Endpoint field.

The URL should have the following format:

    https://server:port/folder

    For example:

    https://my.computer.int/pivision

  7. Click Add.

Note: If your Coresight Server was upgraded to a PI Vision server then the endpoint URL must reflect the location of the new folder. For example, if your 2016 Coresight endpoint was similar to: https://mycoresightserver.company.int/Coresight, you must change it to something similar to: https://mycoresightserver.company.int/PIVision.
