Update the time-enabled layer data source URL

If your system has existing time-enabled feature layers that are providing data, the configuration of the corresponding ArcGIS items must be changed to use the new PI Integrator for Esri ArcGIS instance. You should review every time-enabled feature layer published to Portal for ArcGIS or ArcGIS Online, and modify the root URL with the address of the new PI Integrator instance.

1. Log on to Portal for ArcGIS or ArcGIS Online.

2. Locate and open the time-enabled feature layer.

3. Click the Settings tab.

4. In the Feature Layer Settings, modify the Data Source URL field as necessary to point to the new PI Integrator server.

5. Click Save and repeat steps 1 through 4 for each time-enabled feature layer.
