Update 2015 PI Coresight Widgets to 2017 SP1 PI Vision Widgets

This topic contains information about updating from 2015 PI Coresight Widgets to 2017 SP1 PI Vision Widgets for Operations Dashboard.

Note: Both the Ad-Hoc Trend widget and the Custom Displays widget in PI Integrator for Esri ArcGIS 2015 and PI Integrator for Esri ArcGIS 2017 SP1 are supported with the same PI Coresight and PI Vision versions including PI Coresight 2015 and later releases.

The 2017 SP1 PI Vision widgets for Operations Dashboard can be used with either PI Integrator for Esri ArcGIS 2015 or PI Integrator for Esri ArcGIS 2017 SP1. If you have existing Operations Dashboard views that reference the 2015 PI Coresight widgets, there is no direct upgrade available to the 2017 PI Vision widgets.

The 2017 SP1 widgets must be added and configured manually, then the 2015 widgets can be removed from the operation view. To make the new widget configuration easier, both versions of the widgets can be registered and used within the same operation view.
