System requirements

PI Integrator for Esri ArcGIS requires specific versions of some product components and supporting software. Use the information in this section to determine what software you need to configure your system.

PI System components

While not strictly required, OSIsoft strongly recommends installing the latest production software releases. The following list represents the minimum software requirements for running PI Integrator for Esri ArcGIS:

• PI Server 2012 or later

  • Data Archive version 3.4.390 or later

  • Asset Framework (AF) server version 2.5 or later

• AVEVA PI Vision, PI Coresight 2015 and later versions

• PI Integrator for Esri ArcGIS

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2012®, Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2® or later

  • Access to a local or remote Microsoft SQL Server 2012® or later

  • The Windows server must be a domain member that is trusted by PI Server.

  • .NET framework 4.6.1

  • AF Client version 2.8.6

Esri ArcGIS Platform components

All Esri components must be version 10.2.2 or later (version 10.5 or later is strongly recommended):

• ArcGIS Enterprise (ArcGIS GIS Server must be licensed as Standard or Advanced edition)

• ArcGIS GeoEvent Server

For a complete experience, we also recommend:

• ArcGIS Online

• ArcGIS Desktop or ArcGIS Pro

• Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS

  Note: The Asset Extractor is not compatible with Esri ArcGIS Enterprise 10.7.x and later.

PI Integrator for Esri ArcGIS supports the following browsers:

• Microsoft Internet Explorer 11

• Mozilla Firefox (latest)

• Google Chrome (latest)
