Register the PI Vision Widget add-in

Ensure that you have already created a service, layer, and map and that you have created an operation view using Operations Dashboard.

1. From Operations Dashboard, select Widgets > Manage Add-ins.

   The Manage Add-ins window opens. If no add-ins have been opened previously, the window displays the following message: There are no add-ins currently installed. Otherwise, a list of add-ins is shown.

   If the Widgets menu item does not display, select Tools > Edit Operation View.

2. If your add-in displays in the Manage Add-ins window, select it. Otherwise, click Add... .

   The Choose Add-in window displays. If necessary, use the Search text box to locate your add-in.

3. Click PI Integrator for Esri ArcGIS Operations Dashboard Add-in to select it, then click Open.

   The Manage Add-ins window displays. The add-in should contain two Widgets; one called PI System Ad-Hoc Trends and another named PI System Custom Displays. The add-in also contains two Feature Actions named View in PI System ad-hoc trends and View in PI System display(s).

4. Click Close.

   The AVEVA PI Vision widgets have been added.

You can configure the AVEVA PI Vision widgets any time by clicking the Tools icon on the AVEVA PI Vision widget and selecting Configure. Be sure to save your map with the widget by selecting File > Save.
