PI Vision widgets for Esri Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS

The AVEVA PI Vision widgets give your maps additional operational intelligence by adding PI System context and history to your Operations Dashboard views. The topics in this section describe how to configure and use a AVEVA PI Vision widget. The add-in contains two widgets: an Ad-Hoc Trend widget and a Custom Displays widget.

The Ad-Hoc Trends widget allows you to view AVEVA PI Vision ad-hoc trend displays that relate to map features. The Custom Displays widget allows you to view displays that have been saved in AVEVA PI Vision that relate to map features in the Esri Operations Dashboard.

The PI Vision widgets are supported only in the Operations Dashboard Windows application, not in the browser.

To use the AVEVA PI Vision widgets, you should already have created a service, layer, and map before beginning the steps in this section. If necessary, use the instructions in the following topics:
