If you have configured a pop-up that should display a timestamp field, some additional setup is required. Normally, timestamp fields in a pop-up display only the date portion of the timestamp field without the time portion. Follow the steps in this section to have your pop-up display both the date and time.

Timestamp fields are normally stored as a long integer that consists of the number of seconds from a specified date.

  1. From your map, highlight a layer and click the ellipsis next to the layer name, then select Configure Pop-up (see the figure below).

  2. In the Pop-up Contents sub-menu, select the TimeStamp (timestamp) attribute in the selection box under the heading: These field attributes will display: then click Configure Attributes.

The Configure Attributes screen displays, which indicates which fields will display in the pop-up.

  3. In the Format list, select a format to use when displaying the date, either 12/21/1997 or 21/12/1997.

The Show time box, which was previously disabled, can now be checked.

  4. Check the Show time box then select the format to use when displaying the time.

  5. Click OK then click OK again to close the pop-up configuration menu.

  6. Click a different feature on your map to refresh the pop-up.

Both the date and time fields should now be shown in the pop-up.
