Considerations when creating a ViewApp for the OMI web client

There are inherent limitations when using a browser-based application, compared to using a native desktop application. For example, the technology that underlies the web client does not allow the web client to open a process on the device on which it is running. If this were allowed, it could potentially be used to circumvent system security.
