This is a sample procedure for installing a security certificate on Android 11. Both the user interface and the procedure steps may be different in different versions of the Android operating system.
Note: Before you start this procedure, you must have copied the exported certificate file to the Android device. For more information about exporting the certificate file, see Export the security certificate.
Note: For detailed procedures for your version of Android, we recommend you read the instructions found in the Android Help section of the Google Support web site for installing a certificate.
-
On your Android device, open the Settings app.
-
Select Security.
-
Select Advanced to show more option.
-
Select Encryption & credentials.
-
Select Install a certificate.
-
Select CA certificate, then Install anyway.
-
Navigate to the location of the certificate file and select the file.
-
On the Encryption & credentials page:
-
Select Trusted credentials.
-
Select the User tab.
-
Make sure the certificate that you just installed is listed.
-
-
After the certificate is imported, close and re-open your browser if it was open. You should now be able to open the OMI web client by going to https://<web_client_host>/omi.
