Configure the scheduler object

You should configure an object to automate a schedule for any subsystem.

To configure an object:

1. In the Template pane, open the Application folder.

2. Right-click $SchedulerObject. Select New, then Instance to create an instance of the Scheduler.

3. Rename the instance if desired.

4. Double-click the instance to edit it.

5. Enter the paths of the .xml files.

   These paths should be the same paths provided while configuring the Scheduler application.

6. Select the Encrypt configuration files check box.

   Ensure that the Encrypt configuration files check box is selected in the Scheduler application.

   

7. Assign an object to an area and then deploy the object.

8. Open the object viewer.

9. Change the value of the "TempPauseExecution" attribute to false

   

   You can view all the created schedules in the logger.

   

   Note: You should deploy the "runtime" scheduler object to activate the runtime for the object.
