Import client controls: options

You can import client controls into the Industrial Graphic Editor from .NET Dynamic Link Library (.DLL) files.

After importing client controls, you can organize them in the Industrial Graphic Editor as you would with Industrial Graphics. For more information, see Organize client controls.

You can also import client controls that have previously been exported in an ArchestrA package (.aaPKG) file.

If you import a newer version of a client control that you are already using in your HMI software as embedded Industrial graphic, you need to restart the HMI software.
