AVEVA™ PI Vision OMI App - Flex license only

Note: The AVEVA PI Vision OMI App requires an AVEVA Flex license. It is not included in the product installation. If you have a Flex license, see How to Download and Install the PI Vision App for installation instructions.

The AVEVA™ PI Vision OMI App enables a PI Vision dashboard or ad hoc display to be shown within a layout pane of a running ViewApp. Displays can be configured to follow the current navigation context, and thus allow users to view the status of assets in different locations. In this document, the AVEVA™ PI Vision OMI App is also referred to as the OMI app to distinguish between the app and the native PI Vision application.

The OMI app incorporates the ease-of-use and fast access for which PI Vision is noted. The OMI app also allows some of PI Vision's ad hoc visualization capabilities, including trends, meters and charts, to be utilized directly in an OMI ViewApp. Note that the OMI app includes only a subset of PI Vision's capabilities.
