The Point Cloud Viewer content item is an integrated version of the Point Cloud Manager - Viewer on CONNECT, a visualization tool for laser surveys managed in AIM-A. This section provides an overview of the available functionality in the CONNECT visualization Point Cloud Viewer. Full documentation on the Point Cloud Viewer is provided in the AVEVA Point Cloud Manager Viewer Help, which can be found by selecting the Help icon Help icon in the Point Cloud Manager - Viewer application on CONNECT.

When a survey is directly accessed from search results, the card is expanded by default. Select Resize icon to resize the viewer and view the summary page for the survey.

If you're accessing the viewer from a tag associated with two or more documents, you can select the toggle list icon Toggle list icon to view and select from other surveys.

Below are details on the available functions:

Floorplan Floorplan icon

Displays a list of available floorplans available in the survey.

Datasets Datasets icon

Displays a list of datasets available in the survey. Select from an available dataset to navigate to the summary page for that dataset.

Objects Objects icon

Displays a list of objects available in the survey.

Benchmarks Benchmarks icon

Displays a list of benchmarks available in the survey.

Show Properties Panel Show properties panel icon

Displays the Properties panel.

Options Menu Options Menu icon

Displays the Options menu.

Switch to Tile View Switch to Tile View icon

Switches the display to tile view.
