The response you receive from Industrial AI Assistant will typically include a description of the information that was referred to and a summary of how it relates to your question. A description of any calculations may also be provided. This will typically explain any assumptions that were made and include advice on how to interpret the results.
In some cases, the name of an asset or stream may include a hyperlink. This will occur if any associated visualizations or documents are available in CONNECT visualization. You can click on a link to display the content. Links may also be included for saved content and engineering documents.
A chart may also be included in the results returned by the assistant. This will occur if the answer to a question includes time-series data or events.
Citations
Citations are included for any answers that are derived from the data in CONNECT visualization. This gives you easy access to the information used to generate a response. It provides transparency and allows you to validate the source data before you take any further action.
You can access the citation information by clicking on the following icon.

Citation is then presented as a drop-down list that includes the following information:
-
Data Source - each data source used to support the request is shown, along with the number of data citations from that data source.
-
Input - the key points in a question that were linked to the information in visualization services.
-
Result – the items that were used to create the response. Each item includes a hyperlink that will provide access to that information.
Example
Industrial AI Assistant is asked the following question:
Is wind turbine GE01 currently running at full capacity?
The following response is returned.

A link is included for “GE01”. This indicates that a visualization is available for this asset. Clicking on this link will display the visualization.
The response also includes the following chart:

This chart presents time-series data for the four streams that are mentioned in the response. It includes the current value for each and a recent history.
You can click on this chart to present a larger version of it. This gives you access to a full set of configuration options for the chart.
Clicking on the Citation icon (and the Data Analysis drop-down) displays the following.

-
The Input section indicates that “wind turbine GE01”, “full capacity” and “1 day”, were determined to be the key points in the question that related to the available operational data.
-
The Result section lists the items that were used to collate the data included in the response. Links are provided to display the associated items in visualization services.
Note: Any questions you ask the assistant will be monitored for relevance and responsible usage. If a question is determined to be inappropriate, the assistant will indicate that it cannot provide a response.
