Features

  • CONNECT visualization (NEW): CONNECT visualization is a cloud-based solution that lets you easily manage your operations and assets from anywhere, at any time. By providing key data within the context of your business, CONNECT visualization improves asset reliability and operational performance. Here's how to Get started with CONNECT visualization.

The following functionality is delivered as part of this first release:

    • CONNECT visualization uses AVEVA Data Hub namespaces for its data source. You cannot use any other type of data source in CONNECT visualization. For more information, see Configure data sources in CONNECT visualization.

    • Assets are a representation of a physical component of your operation and can be linked to an asset type. You will need to complete any modifications to assets or asset types from AVEVA Data Hub. For more information, see About assets and Browse asset types.

    • Create and manage Content in CONNECT visualization to visually represent your data or data from external sources. Content can be shared with other members of your solution or kept private. For more information, see Create and manage content.

    • Dashboards allow you to collect related pieces of content and save them to a reusable view. Once created, Dashboards can be shared with other members of your solution or kept private. For more information, see Create visualizations.

  • Asset Information Management Advanced (AIM-A) data (PREVIEW): AIM-A is available as a preview to a limited set of customers. For more information about AIM-A and its availability, please contact your customer sales representative, and watch these release notes for an announcement of its general availability.
