This content item displays a field value of an asset.

Configure the following properties for this content item:
-
In the Basic tab:
-
Follow asset context - When this is enabled:
-
If this content is in a visualization, it uses the visualization's asset context as its data source. For details, see Create a new visualization.
-
If this content is in an experience, it uses the navigation item's asset reference as its data source. For details, see the Add content to a pane section in Add content to panes in your navigation items.
-
-
Asset - If Follow asset context is disabled, select the asset to represent with this content item. To display data, the selected asset must have events.
You can search for assets by name, by filter, or both.
-
To search by asset name, enter a value in the Asset field.
-
To apply filters, select the Asset field, then select
to view and select filters. Select
to accept your selected filters and return to the previous search panel.
-
Select an asset from the search results to add it.
-
-

If this content is in a visualization, it uses the visualization's time context as the time range for the data it displays. For details, see Create a new visualization.
-

Time - If Follow time context is disabled, select the time range for the data displayed in the content item.
-
Event Type - The type of event to chart. Only event types associated with the selected asset are displayed.
-
Period - The period for filtering event data. This property only appears when you select an event type with period options and its period field is not empty.
-
Aggregation Type - The calculation method for the data displayed in the chart.

Field - The field to display. The values in this list are based on the selected event type. They are numeric-type fields, including timespan data-type fields.
If you select a timespan type-field, such as duration, the target, minimum, and maximum gauge values must be entered in minutes. For example, if the minimum value is 5 days, then you must enter 7200 in the Min property. Hover over the displayed value on the chart to view the full time precision in the tooltip, which shows the value in days hh:mm:ss format if it exceeds one day.
