Adjust the range of time for a visualization

To adjust the range of time for a visualization, select the time button in the upper left corner of the visualization. Select a predefined time range, or select Custom to define your own.

Note: For a visualization that is embedded in an experience, this button is available if the visualization doesn't follow the time context.

In addition to selecting past and present times, you can select times in the future. When the time range ends in the future, many content items show data for future times. This is based on the last available data.

Not all content items may update. The visualization's editor can choose which content items update based on the visualization's time range.
