Multiple OEE KPI display with guage and mini bars

Configure the following properties for this visual:

  • In the Basic tab:

    • Follow asset context - When this is enabled:

    • Asset - If Follow asset context is disabled, select the asset to display in this content item. The selected asset must track equipment performance and OEE to display in the chart.

You can search for assets by name, by filter, or both.

      • To search by asset name, enter a value in the Asset field.

      • To apply filters, select the Asset field, then select Filter icon to view and select filters. Select Back icon to accept your selected filters and return to the previous search panel.

      • Select an asset from the search results to add it.

    • Follow time context - When this is enabled:

      • If this content is in a visualization, it uses the visualization's time context as the time range for the data it displays. For details, see Create a new visualization.

      • If this content is in an experience, it uses the time selected in the time selector content item as the time range for the data it displays. For details, see Add a time selector.

    • Time - If Follow time context is disabled, select the time range for the data displayed in the content item.

  • In the Advanced tab:

    • Title - The title that displays for this content item. This property is only available in grid visualizations; content items do not display titles in canvas visualizations or experiences.

    • Main OEE KPI - Specify the primary Overall Equipment Effectiveness KPI type to display in the gauge. The default value is OEE. The other KPI types appear as mini bars next to the gauge.

For information on how each KPI is calculated, see KPI calculation details.

    • OEE Target Value - The target value for the OEE KPI type.

    • Availability Target Value - The target value for the Availability KPI type.

    • Performance Target Value - The target value for the Performance KPI type.

    • Quality Target Value - The target value for the Quality KPI type.

The system sets all target value properties to the value defined in the MES asset-level hierarchy by default, but you can modify them. If no target value is defined in MES, the default is 80. They accept numeric values greater than 0 and up to 100, including decimal numbers.

The gauge or mini bar indicates performance based on the KPI type value:

    • Green: The KPI type value is equal to or greater than the target value.

    • Yellow: The KPI type value is within 10 percentage points of the target value.

    • Red: The KPI type value is less than 10 percentage points of the target value.

For example, if the target value is 80%:

    • The guage or mini bar is red if the KPI type value is below 70%.

    • It is yellow if the KPI type value is between 70% and 80%.

    • It is green if the KPI type value is 80% or greater.
