Experiences are structured, interactive data visualizations. They typically consist of multiple pages called "navigation items." Each navigation item can consist of multiple panes of content.
This section describes the options for interacting with a running experience. Experiences are deeply customizable, so the interaction options available depend on how the experience has been configured.
Show or hide slide-in panes
Slide-in panes may be available to the left, right, above, or below the primary pane area. Select the tab-style button in the respective location to expand the slide in pane.

Select anywhere outside the slide-in pane area to collapse it.
Navigate up and down through navigation items
If you are on a level of the navigation hierarchy where there are multiple sibling navigation items, you can navigate up and down through them using buttons above and below the pane.

These buttons navigate between sibling navigation items under the same parent. They do not navigate to parent or child navigation items.
Note for users on touch devices: If you are familiar with other AVEVA products that offer similar functionality to experiences, you may be used to certain advanced touch gestures. When viewing experiences, only the standard tap, drag, and pinch gestures are supported. Advanced gestures such as swiping to navigate the hierarchy are not supported.
